Our Pop Up Live Gig - The Trials and Triumphs

SPIN Magazine throws a contest with PopChips giving bands a chance to headline at South by Southwest, get tweeted by Ashton Kutcher, and win a couple thousands bucks. Obviously we hopped on this opportunity quicker than a cowboy at a rodeo.
Thanks to our awesome fans, BAM, we win... and now we're in the finals. We're told we have to throw a "Pop Up Live Gig" at a random location and document the entire thing on film. Easy. Little did they know the MLO Dream Team does videography, producing, web design, engineering, male dancing, and everything in-between.

Yada yada yada, day of the show. We ordered a keg. A Rolling Rock keg, I'm really not sure why. (super cheap, that's why) It's a house party, bound to get out of control. The masses start to accumulate, ready to have their socks rocked clearly off their feet. We hit the stage harder than this guy...

Commence insanity. Three songs into the set we whip out our brand new gem, "Open Season," which will hit iTunes in mid-November. Crowd digs it, more high-fives than Comic-Con. The boys are jumping, the girls at bumping; Minutes Like Ours at their finest.

Matt's Visceral Vocals were Voluptuous.
Pat's Pounding Patterns were Palpable.
Tom's Bass Bumping was Bodaciously Brilliant.
Damon's Riff-Ripping was Ridiculous.
Shamus Engineering was Exceptionally Eruptive.

October 31st we will debut our POP UP LIVE Video... within this 90 second gem is a 30 second preview of our upcoming single, "Open Season."

Stay tuned!

Our New Bloggin Home

It's been tough. Minutes Like Ours have floated around the blogosphere for months without a home. After consulting our trusted friends; Mr. Bing, Dr. Goggle, and Professor Yahoo...We have finally inked a deal with Blogger. By inked a deal, I mean we signed up.

This blog will tell of our tumultuous tour turmoils, spill our studio secrets, and press the private practices of your favorite Pop Rock Band, Minutes Like Ours. Enjoy.
